The chorus was delighted to take part in SING 2023, the National Convention of the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS), held at the Bournemouth International Centre. After months of rehearsal, we took our two songs You’re the Girl I Love and The Tender Trap, to the main chorus competition on Saturday 27th May. Our score placed us 12th place out of 28 in the competition, an impressive performance. Most of all, we enjoyed our long preparation and all too brief time on stage. A video of our set will appear on YouTube in due course. In the meantime, here is our merry band just after we came off stage.
