Saturday April 13th saw our first of two full day rehearsals for the National Barbershop Convention, an event which marks the 50th anniversary of BABS (British Association of Barbershop Singers). The Convention hosts singers from Britain and around the world and is held at the Harrogate International Centre in late May. On Saturday we worked hard on our two songs for the male chorus competition, improving both singing and performance. Hats were on the agenda. A good time was had by all.
