The chorus has been very busy in recent weeks. We welcomed back Andy Salter as our Musical Director. He has already made his mark with his skill, experience and huge enthusiasm. Andy will continue as our MD for the year.
Rehearsals have focused on preparing for two events we took part in. Firstly, the York Community Choir Festival on February 29th at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, Secondly, the Harrogate Music festival.
The chorus really enjoyed these events. There are more to come this year. In the meantime we continue to prepare our songs for the 50th Anniversary BABS Convention at the Harrogate International Centre in May. Exciting times!
