In June the chorus was delighted to take part in the Cleethorpes Festival of Music and Words. We entered the competition as a chorus in two categories (male voice choir and barbershop chorus), while our quartet entered their own competition. The chorus was awarded a Distinction in the barbershop section and our quartet, The Beachcombers, won the barker Trophy (photographed). The Beachcombers also scored the highest mark of the day! We now look ahead to our next big event, the Time to Sing course starting on September 8th.
