On Saturday 9th December Spirit of Harmony joined Main Street Sound and Ebor Brass for an evening of music, including barbershop and Christmas songs. Tickets and a raffle raised well around £850 for the charity Martin House Children’s Hospice, Boston Spa. The venue was the Bishopthorpe Sports and Social Club who generously offered their function room at no cost. A really enjoyable night all round! On a sad note, the concert marked the final event for our talented Musical Director Nick Bryant who, following his brother Peter, led us ably over the last couple of years.
