On Saturday 7th September the chorus entertained concert-goers at St Michael Le Belfrey, in the shadow of York Minster. We were joined by the brass and wind band Generation Groove, for an evening of ecelectic music ranging from musical favourites such as Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Mary Poppins and Consider Yourself from Oliver, to themes from the great western movies. Our evening ended with informal singing at a local drinking venue nearby.
