A small ensemble from our club were privileged to provide entertainment at the Yorkshire in Bloom annual awards day last Thursday (a regional event in the Britain in Bloom competition) at the Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster, especially as this year represents the 100th anniversary of the hall, also the 60th anniversary of YinB and for us to return to the hall where for several happy years we used to rehearse. For this occasion we couldn’t resist including a song title change from My Wild Irish Rose to - yes, you’ve guessed it - My White Yorkshire Rose, and a double birthday reference in Happy Birthday to You !!
